This class is for beginners as well as advanced students in Taiqi. We work with Tibetan style, Yang style, and Eng style. Beginners are initially taught the Tibetan taiqi form. This form has 96 movements and is easy to learn. It has a feeling of openness to it.
All classes explore simple Qigong exercises to begin to cultivate qi and meditation to help enhance focus and relaxation. This is a well-rounded class for learning self-awareness, relaxation and a good cardiovascular work out. Everyone learns at a pace and rhythm that is comfortable for the individual. Classes are 1.5 hours long and run in eight week segments. There is usually one week off between sessions and classes run through the year.
