Catherine was Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy (NCTMB), and JinShindo Acupressure in 1995. She is an Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy® and is currently in the instructor training program.

In her private practice, her primary modality is Ortho-Bionomy®. She addresses structual imbalances that cause pain and impact range of motion and body function. She effectively assists clients in rehabilitation from an injury or surgery. This is accomplished by the reduction of muscle tension, increasing flexibility, relaxing the body, and improving circulation. Because Ortho-Bionomy® is non-invasive and so gentle, she also works with senior citizens and clients who have significant ambulatory challenges. Many clients refer to her work as magic because of the quiet spaciousness of her sessions. One client said recently "It's so subtle and yet I feel profound relief in my body. My pain is much less and I feel taller that when I came in thank you, thank you."

She also applies JinShindo and its body-mind centered therapy with the trauma model from Ortho-Bionomy® in assisting clients with emotional trauma. She draws from years of experience as an advisor and teacher with people who have mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. She offers insights that inspire clients to challenge negative attitudes and beliefts contrary to healthy living.

Each session is unique and centered around the intent of the client. It becomes a dynamic exchange as awarenesses can arise of past structual imbalances along with thoughts or feelings that can help to unravel patterns of dicomfort. Re-eduction occurs while engaging the proprioceptive response. The self-corrective nature of Ortho-Bionomy® reminds the body of its innate ability to restore balance in it’s function and mobility whether it be physical, mental, or emotional.

Clients are given self-care exercises and visualizations that will further assist in the healing and integration of newly formed clarity. The individual session cost $60.00 for an hour treatment.
